This podcasts explores the need to have a professional language to better describe our training, operations and goals when it come to the law enforcement profession. We have been borrowing our vocabulary from the military, which has a very different mission from that of law enforcement. As such, the military language does not properly describe who we are and what we do. It is past time for us to reassess our language and update how we discuss and describe who we are, what we do and how we train.
